Copyright 2.0 Show – Episode 360 – I’ll Be Banc

It is Monday again and that means that it is time for another episode of the Copyright 2.0 Show.

To call it a busy week of copyright news would be a grandiose understatement. Not only do we have a 9th Circuit ruling in the Innocence of Muslims case, we also have have an update on the TVEyes case and a photographer targeting Pinterest with a copyright infringement lawsuit.

We also have a couple of new lawsuits as a musicians’ union goes to bat over reuse of music in different films and the estate for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle takes another bite at the Sherlock Holmes apple, this one with a better chance at success.

However, the story everyone is talking about is the Richard Prince saga, in particular how he made an entire exhibition using other people’s Instagram photos. Needless to say, there’s more than a little bit of talk about that.
