Copyright 2.0 Show – Episode 307 – Not So Genius

It is Friday again and that means that it is time for another episode of the Copyright 2.0 Show.

It was one of those weeks in copyright news, one where the dialog is centered around people making bad decisions and acting in less-than honorable ways.

For example, we have news that one popular and lyrics site didn’t bother to license its lyrics, despite getting over $15 million in investment money. We also have news that a poplar artist may have gotten her single cover straight off the Web and news that both a release group and a forum admin were both collecting data on the pirates that they were claiming to serve.

All in all, it’s a week’s worth of new that might hurt your faith in humanity, but it is still a show that you do not want to miss!
