It is Friday again and that means that it is time for another episode of the Copyright 2.0 Show.

Happy New Year everyone and we are back with our first episode of 2013! With the holidays over Patrick and I face the daunting, or rather, not-quite-so-daunting challenge of going over everything that happened while we were gone.

And it was a busy season, especially for Apple and its fans. Not only did Apple lose a potentially key lawsuit in China, but the company’s ironclad grip on iOS DRM may be slipping.

But it’s not just Apple we have news from, the New York Time settles their dispute with Quarz peacefully and The Pirate Party UK has to do what they said they would never do.
