4th International Plagiarism Conference

I’m a bit late in reporting this, but I wanted to let everyone know that the 4th International Plagiarism Conference is scheduled for June 21-23 at Northumbria University in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in the UK.

I attended and spoke at the 3rd conference in 2008 and it was a great conference with a lot to see and do.

If you’re interested in plagiarism issues and are able to go, I would definitely recommend doing so. If you’re intersted, here are some of the basics of the event.

The conference focuses mostly on academic plagiarism issues but much of the discussion about technology and honesty also have great bearing on plagiarism issues outside of the classroom, including the Web.

There is currently an early bird special through the end of the year to attend the conference for £260.00 but the amount will rise after the new year to £180.00 per day or £360.00 for the entire conference two-day event.
