A Quick Note on Bitacle

If there were any lingering questions about the legitimacy of Bitacle, they have been erased from my mind. When you look at one of Bitacle’s cached pages and look at their Adsense ads, you see the following:

The site is in Spanish, much of the scraped content is in English, but yet its Google ads are in what appears to be an Asian language. I have tried this on two different computers with the same results.

Why would a site put their Adsense in a language that is not native to their site in any way? The only reason that I can think of is to frustrate users trying to report them for violations.

Fortunately, that doesn’t matter. To report Adsense copyright violations, all a site has to do is file a DMCA notice with Adsense. Since all languages of Adsense, from what I understand, are based in the U.S., one English-language notice is all that is required.

If anyone needs any help with this, please let me know. I will gladly email my stock notice to anyone who needs it.
