Speaking at HAuNTcon 2019
Starting 2019 off right...
As I’ve discussed in the past, in addition to my passion for copyright and plagiarism issues, I also run a small haunted house in New Orleans and am an avid fan of haunted attractions.
As I’ve done in years past, I’m combining those two passions by speaking at HAuNTcon, this year being held in my home town of New Orleans, Louisiana.
The conference will be held January 25-27 at the Ernest N Morial convention center here in the city. It is co-located with the Halloween & Party Expo, one of the largest trade shows for this industry. My talk will be one of the first sessions, running at 9:30 AM on Friday, January 25.
As for that talk, it will be an updated version of my classic Copyright and Trademark for Haunters talk, which I posted on the site previously. It’s an important talk that I’ve given multiple times to both HAuNTcon and other haunted attraction conventions but I am excited about providing an updated take on.
So, if you are a haunted attraction owner, operator, actor or other member of the community, pick up your ticket today and come by the talk. Also, you may want to check out Haunt Weekly, a podcast that my partner and I do for haunted attractions and for the industry.
Likewise, if you’re interested in having me speak at your event, consider reaching out to me via my Speaking Page. I’ll be happy to see how we can work together!
