It is Friday again and that means that it is time for another episode of the Copyright 2.0 Show.
It might be easy to think of this as the perfect episode of the Copyright 2.0 Show. Not only did we start on time and end on time, with almost the perfect length of the episode, we also had a slew of great topics to go over.
Those topics include the head of MP3Tunes being hit with a $41 million judgment, a lawsuit that centers around a teaser trailer for the movie “Frozen” and a UK copyright tweak that will bring its law up to the 1990s.
We also have a preemptive lawsuit filed by the Notorious B.I.G. estate over a 20-year-old sample, a German court ordering a usenet provider to filter copyrighted content and word that Justin Bieber/Usher have beaten the $10 million lawsuit filed against them.
