Copyright 2.0 Show – 3963 Seconds

It is Friday again and that means that it is time for another episode of the Copyright 2.0 Show as we bring you a whopping 3,963 seconds of copyright news!

We start off this week’s episode talking about E3 and the recent controversy involving Microsoft, the XBox One and its DRM scheme. But then we slide into our show notes as we have three topics with two stories each. Those topics include “three strikes” regimes in the UK and U.S., criminal copyright cases reaching their resolution and streaming radio finding itself in the limelight.

All of that and we have something of a rarity on the podcast, an appeals court overturning a lower court ruling.

All in all this is one show you definitely don’t want to miss!

This week’s stories include:

  • Microsoft Takes Heat Over XBox One DRM Policy
  • Comic Book Author’s Lawsuit Over Ghost Rider Saved by Appeals Court
  • UK Piracy Letters Delayed Until 2015
  • Warner Brothers Sends Settlement Demands via DMCA Notices
  • UK Student Walks Free After Leaking Sony DRM Information
  • Chinese Citizen Given 12 Years in U.S. Prison Over Piracy
  • Pandora Buys Terrestrial Radio Station for Cheaper Royalties
  • Apple Launches Pandora Competitor, iTunes Radio
