Copyright 2.0 Show – Episode 275 – Soap Opera

Soap Opera DigestIt is Friday again and that means that it is time for another episode of the Copyright 2.0 Show.

Since Patrick and I missed last week’s show due to my travel, we were forced to play catch up this week and try to cover some lost ground. That meant, more than anything, trying to squeeze two full weeks of news into just a little over an hour.

No easy task and we didn’t make it any easier on ourselves. Still, there’s a lot going on in this episode including the soap opera surrounding Prenda Law’s day not in court, The Pirate Bay founders having a key appeal denied and Kim Dotcom also suffering a setback on appeal.

All in all, this is one very busy episode that you do not want to miss!

This week’s stories include:

  • Prenda Law Has Their Day in Court, Doesn’t Show Up
  • Pirate Bay EU Appeal Denied
  • U.S. Government Wins on Appeal Against Kim Dotcom
  • France Seeks to Expand Its “Three Strikes” System
  • First BitTorrent Lawsuit in Sweden
  • The Harlem Shake Song Draws Copyright Complaints Over Samples
  • The Copyright Challenges of the New Oz Movie

You can download the MP3 file here (1:12:15, direct download). Those interested in subscribing to the show can do so via this feed.
