Copyright News Links 12-20-08
It was a crazy week for copyright news but this week’s linkroll actually misses one of the most important stories of the Week, the RIAA announcement that it would stop its mass lawsuit strategy. This story, unfortunately, came out after this linkroll had to be compiled due to an early recording of the Podcast, so it will be covered in greater depth next week.
But even without that story we have a busy week of copyright news including a possible copyright extension in the UK, a challeged RIAA lawsuit (irony be thy name) and even a claim of copyright over the Taj Mahal.
Remember, as usual, this week’s linkroll is a “raw” link list. Some stories are duplicated, some do not point to their original sources and some may not be accurate. A great deal of refining goes into producing the show notes for the Copyright 2.0 Show.
