Copyright 2.0 Show – Episode 270 – Trouble in Paradise

Antigua Flag ImageIt is Friday again and that means that it is time for another episode of the Copyright 2.0 Show.

It was an exciting week for the Copyright 2.0 Show. Not only do we start off talking about giant space battles (with down to earth consequences) and a very scary police standoff happening in Phoenix (a bit too close to a friend of ours for comfort), we debarked to the land of Antigua, which is looking to become a haven for more than just vacation-seekers and a trip to New Zealand where the nation’s first copyright tribunal hands down its first judgment.

It’s a busy week of copyright and other news and it’s a show you definitely don’t want to miss.

This week’s stories include:

  • Antigua Seeks to Become Piracy Haven
  • Ray Charles’ Children Win Copyright Termination Case
  • Unlocking Cellphones Now Illegal in U.S.
  • New Zealand Copyright Tribunal Hands Down First Decision
  • Finnish Activists Want to Crowdsource Copyright Legislation
  • Tech Industry Unites Against “Google Tax” Bill in Germany
  • Jonathan Coulton Battles Glee Over “Baby Got Back”

You can download the MP3 file here (direct download). Those interested in subscribing to the show can do so via this feed.
