Copyright 2.0 Show – Episode 268 – Auto Ripping

Amazon Autorip

It is Friday again and that means that it is time for another episode of the Copyright 2.0 Show.

What a week it was for copyright news. It was such an insane week that we could have literally made another podcast out of the stories we had to leave out.

Still, we had to make the hard choices and pick our best but we still have a slammed show with some major news on the Man of Steel, the fact you can’t fire your photo department and just use Twitter and Verizon already warning suspected pirates. All of this an Amazon offering one of the best deals in music right now.

Basically, this is one show you definitely don’t want to miss!

This week’s stories include:

  • Warner Brothers Wins, Exclusively Owns Superman’s Copyright
  • AFP Unlawfully Used Photos Posted on Twitter
  • Verizon Sends First Warnings in Copyright Alert System
  • DOJ Says Megaupload Allegations are Baseless
  • CBS and CNET Create Controversy Over Dish’s Hopper
  • Lionsgate Orders Removal of “Buffy vs. Edward”
  • Amazon Launches Auto Rip, Offers Free MP3s w/ CD Purchase

You can download the MP3 file here (direct download). Those interested in subscribing to the show can do so via this feed.
