The reason there might be so many similarities is because their so many common ideas in fiction writing. Having a fictional series going long enough, then series is very likely to have a competition, just like Star Wars, the Dragon Ball series, Gundam series and many more examples on http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Tourna.... Another evidence against Rowling is that both works have a protagonist receiving help from helpers. That evidence can be debunk very easily because a protagonist receiving help happens most of the time, so more than 90% fiction writers and other fictionist are guilty of 'copying' that idea. Points for releasing prisoners ,discovering the task in a special wizard's bathroom earning 40 or so points ,the hostages are being held by half human creatures who are acting on behalf of the organisers of a year of wizard contests the protagonist helped by his assistant some kind of elf apprentice protesting against working conditions memory loss spells and mysterious vanishingsnow |I am confused am I reading willythewizard or harry potter and the goblet of fire-beam me up scotty its all ahuge coincidence-St.Jo wouldn't plagiarize a dead writer surely……..

Watch out for that Plagiarism suit by the EState of Adrian Jacobs against Bloomsbury plc over Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire in the English High Court-it certainly must be going somewhere because it still goes on! According to the Public papers filed in court there are many plot similarities with the Rowling work to be found in Jacobs' The Adventures of Willy The Wizard see http://www.willythewizard.com” target=”_blank”>www.willythewizard.com for info on the little book.
