I wouldn't say it literally devalues everything it touches, and I have noticed notable improvements in web content search results, but sometimes it does seem like they allow things to get out of hand before they step back and say, "uh oh - Houston, we have a problem".I have a love/hate relationship with Google. I use it more than any other search engine and it seems to bring out the best and worst in results. I'd just like to see them get the jump on things a little sooner than they do, i.e. the DMCA issue, etc.

I'm not sure if I would say Google devalues everything it touches, I'm unsure if this site would have any value without search engines, but I can also understand why the AP feels as they do.Show notes link has been fixed, thanks for the heads up on that one!

ifroggy quoted Wall Street Journal's editor Robert Thompson as quoted by Forbes, "Google devalues everything it touches"...Can we get an "AMEN"? I've felt this way for years. Also, the link for 'SHOW NOTES' leads to this page: http://www.diigo.com/list/Plagiarismtoday/episo.....That allows you to redirect to Episode 51 and I did find this episode, but thought you'd like to know the link is a tad broken.
