Copyright News Links – 01-03-09

By Jonathan Bailey • Jan 3rd, 2009 • Category: Articles, Linkblog

ghandi-sigIt was easily the slowest week of the year for copyright news, mostly thanks to the holidays, but definitely one of the most important. This is a week you don’t want to miss.

First, we have a potentially important copyright lawsuit to start out the new year, a couple of major icons slipping into the public domain and a lawsuit that is bound to shake up the hip hop world.

Remember, as usual, this week’s linkroll is a “raw” link list. Some stories are duplicated, some do not point to their original sources and some may not be accurate. A great deal of refining goes into producing the show notes for the Copyright 2.0 Show.
