The mandatory evac was announced at 8 am on Sunday, we got out at 1 am Saturday, almost 36 hours before. We saw no traffic, no congestion and, despite having a dog and taking the long way, we only took about five hours to get way into the upstate. <br><br>I keep hoping every time that people will learn my lesson but no one seems to. Every time the roads are clear. It's a bit frustrating to see the mayhem at the city right now, knowing that it easily could have been avoided...
