Copyright 2.0 Show - Episode 57

By Jonathan Bailey • May 5th, 2008 • Category: Podcast, Uncategorized

It is Monday again and that means that it is time for another episode of the Copyright 2.0 Show.

We have another busy week for copyright news with a major legal setback for the RIAA, copyright legislation advancing in Congress, a moral rights case in the U.S. and Canada making a list of the world’s worst IP offenders.

All in all, there were fifteen stories this week including news from all over the copyright world including both an update regarding the Irate Gamer and the authors of malware.

So, to help me sense of it all, I sat down with Chris Matthieu from Numly and we tore through the week’s copyright happenings with our usual mix of news, views and abuse.

This week’s stories include:

  • “Making Available” Claim Fails Key Test
  • PRO-IP Progresses
  • Painted Over Mural Results in $1.1 million Judgment
  • Hulu Comes Back to YouTube
  • Copyright Enforcement in the Darknet
  • And Many more…

You can download the MP3 file here (direct download). Those interested in subscribing to the show can do so via this feed.
