It has been another crazy week for copyright law on the Web with updates to many of the major dramas including the ongoing RIAA litigation, the Viacom suit and more.
So, to make sense of it all, I sat down and hashes through the news, Chris Matthieu from Numly was on vacation, and did my best to discuss the stories with the usual mix of news, views and abuse.
This week’s stories include:
- PRO-IP Finds a Potential Mate
- Viacom Suffers a Setback
- RIAA Faces a New Lawsuit
- Penn Jillette Speaks Out on IP
- Spitzer’s Escort in Copyright Row
- And Many more…

Episode 50 already? Jeeze, I’m still down on Episode 43 trying to catch up with all the episodes I missed from December to Feb.
Jeremy: If it's any consolation, I only remember 5 or 10 of them so I'd imagine you are way ahead of me.Here are some other scary thoughts though. In just four episodes, it will be my fiftieth episode with the show (there were four before Chris realized he might want help). In two eposides, it will be one full year.In six I will have been on the show for a year. Also, if I record the next six episodes, I will have not missed a recording in 52 weeks, even on Christmas and New Years.Clearly, I need a life.
