Lori: Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve considered adding such a feature but this site has been the subject of several Diggs/Slashdots/Farks in the past and not on what I, or most others, would consider the best articles.

For example, the “What Porn Can Teach Us About Piracy” article would undoubtedly be considered the most popular:

But it is something of a niche article at best. It just happened to get dugg. The same hold true for the DMCA on social news sites:

If I were going to give a real starting point, it would be the “Stopping Internet Plagiarism” section of the site, linked in the navigation portion. It is static content, but provides a much better primer on everything this site is about than any content in the feed.

If you have anything specific that you need, feel free to email me or do a search. I’ve upgraded my WP search engine so it should be more useful than the default engine.

Howdy:)

One thing I love about blogcatalog & mybloglog widgets is that I can see who's been at my site. Anyhoo, I saw your face, which leads me to you. I've never been to your blog but I have heard of it. I am increasingly having problems with scrapers but wouldn't know how to see if any of my content has been stolen. Of course, none of mine is really worth stealing, nevertheless, it is mine and I would hate for people to use elsewhere.

I noticed you don't have popular posts..I would love to know what some of the best/more important articles to read. Guess I gotta search;)

HA! I just read the fingerprint article and am trying to figure out how to implement that. I used copyscape to see if there was any stolen content but none came up.
