This was a great article! You really took the time to clearly explain each step, possible issues, possible solutions, and most importantly you gave the site I've been using for a while now to protect my writing a good review! Seriously though, I came here after I saw a blurb about 'my free copyright' and I wanted to find out if there were any major issues with it that I wasn't aware of because I LOVE it! I agree with everything you said about the service and it is amazingly free. You can't ask for more then that, especially with the influx of 'money making websites' that are taking over the web in recent days. I always try to give credit, compliment and if possible promote people, places and things that I in my opinion are positive and can benefit others. Thank you for providing such great and helpful information to those of us who need it and I will be sure to bookmark and share your site with my friends!Peace, Light and Take Care!ColleenExplore The Little PathsPeople Who Inspire Change

Just to be clear, that is not the case. MyFreeCopyright does not store the actual files on their server with any images, just the fingerprint. Therefore, the image is not available on the site at all. It is only blog posts that are stored in clear text from what I can see where that issue comes up.Hope that helps!

I just want to clear up one thing: you mentioned that if you don't set your files/images/etc to "private" on myfreecopyright, others can see them (via search engine, etc), which creates problems. But I just uploaded a test image and there was no "private/public" option. does this mean it's private or publicly viewable now?if you could send me a quick email and clarify, I'd be very much obliged.thank you! -Lily
