Thank you for caring. It's good and refreshing to know there are professional folk like yourself out there who have such positive and object concerns on copyright matters. I suspect I have had more than a a hint of my own copyright breached and so has a relative over the years, but it seems so rampant at times, its like being up against a giant like Goliath. thank you once again. Technically, that would be allowed.Many artists take fanart commissions at various conventions, and even in Japan most Manga-Ka start out as nothing more than Doujinshi (fan) artists, selling their fan works. It's always been a rather gray area, but it's almost always tolerated.

One problem I never seem to see people address about Deviant art is the fact that several artists take commissions for characters that don't even belong to them. The girls from the anime 'Lucky Star' and 'Naruto' for example. I've seen tons of artists there taking money for things like that. Yet DA refuses to do anything about that.

Thats my account, it got stolen from 4 times form a girl called cherubi-gurl.It took her over a week to get deleted, even being reported by hundreds of people!
