Follow Up: T3Blogs is Down

In a brief follow up to yesterday’s article, T3Blogs has been taken down.

In a post regarding the shut down, Anders Rodland, the owner of the network said the following:

“It was a waste of time, energy and money, and I pissed off a lot of people. However, I have learned several valuable lessons, and I doubt I will do something this stupid again.”

This is echoed in an email sent to me where Rodland is very apologetic for the problems he created and expressed remorse of what he has done.

It seems as if Rodland has realized the mistake and is learning from it. This is great news, not only to those who he scraped from, but to the Internet at large. It is also the best possible move for Rodland himself.

My only hope is that other scrapers will have a similar realization.

  • Nice work to you and everyone who proactively worked to bring it to light. Credit to the guy for realizing his mistake, as well.
