Google is working all the time to improve their algorithms. Even if we do get around them for a while, in a short time there will be another one we will need to learn and understand. It's not easy to <a rel="follow" href="http://www.Outrank.com" rel="nofollow">outrank</a> another site with the same content but sometimes it happens.

I don't see any indication on the OMGILI site that they will respect a robots.txt file. They ask you for two things if you wish to be excluded from their "preview" feature: (1) add an html meta tag to every forum page, and (2) use a special form to inform them that you have done so. This increases the size of every page served, and suggests that OMGILI will continue to index forum pages where that tag is not found. If other sites followed this model, you could end up serving specific instructions to dozens or hundreds of spiders in the header of every page your website serves.

Mr. Geva would avoid most complaints if he added a "noindex" tag to the supposed "cache" pages. He knows that the content isn't his, and I personally believe that he wants the pages indexed to increase traffic to his site (at the expense of the sites which create the content he scrapes).

Also, the major search engines should be smart enough to figure out that OMGILI's "preview" pages are not original content and either exclude them from their indexes or make sure that they never rank above the original. The fact that OMGILI can outrank the original content speaks to a surprising weakness in search engine algoriths. (I have heard similar complaints about domaintools.com, and its "SEO Text Browser" pages outranking an original page. That should never happen.)
