I think that this is a great idea! You have an amazing perspective on the copyright landscape both existing and upcoming copyright laws as well as strong ideas on where copyright laws should be going. You were instrumental in the formation of my startup with its copyright questions and your suggestions. Your advice was always well received and proved to be right on! I think that this is a great idea! You have an amazing perspective on the copyright landscape both existing and upcoming copyright laws as well as strong ideas on where copyright laws should be going.

try to wrangle the spagetti line between fair-use for excerpting, parody, commentary and plagiarism.

sign my petition to reduce copyright back to 14 years, with no exceptions.

Jonathan, I really like your idea because, selfishly, I know we’ll all benefit so much from it! Other than the kinds of questions I’ve emailed you on occasion I have no other ideas about topics at the moment, but imagine that you wouldn’t lack for people writing in. Thanks!

Just the other day I had a question about one of these issues and thought I'd send you an email asking what you knew. But didn't. 1) Maybe you didn't know. 2) Felt like asking for a favor and personal attention.

I think the rigor of writing an article on a given question would produce very good information. And taking questions from your readership could unearth a lot of interesting topics.
