[...] Bloggers will likely be put off by the very low commission rates. Though Yepic is fairly competitive on higher priced and higher volume works, the commission drops to 50% or less on cheaper items that don’t sell well. Compare this to a 90% commission with Lisensa or 75% commission for Scoopt Words (which many saw as low) and Yepic appears to be a bad deal for many bloggers. [...]

Richard,

I'm sorry about the delay in getting your comment up. Apparently I'm having some problems with the moderation queue in Wordpress.

Regardless, I'm not exactly sure how to answer your question. Lisensa is a fine service and I think it has a lot of potential but it isn't a one-sized fits all service. Some are going to prefer a BlogBurst set up and others will go for a Scoopt Words approach.

Honestly though, after looking at your site, I am unsure about how someone would benefit from using both your service and Lisensa as they seem to do largely the same things.

I'll be in touch via email this weekend as I want to ask you a few questions about your service when you get some time.

Sorry I couldn't be more help right now, I think I'm just unclear on the question.

Feel free to follow up if I didn't answer it adequately.

I spent this afternoon reading your blog, very informative, thanks for pulling all this information together. I'm in the UGC business (my company, www.yepic.com, just launched it's offering, an online marketplace for premium UGC where users can create and publish any type of media and put a price-tag on it) and I wanted to know if you thought Licensia would be a good tool for them to license their content? We're concerned about their work getting pirated. I'll check back on this post to see if you reply, or, if you'd be so kind, go ahead and email me.
