Update: Bitacle Removes All Ads

By Jonathan Bailey • Oct 17th, 2006 • Category: Articles, DMCA, Legal Issues, News

I just visited Bitacle’s Web site and checked entries both as a guest and with my test account. No Adsense ads appear on any of Bitacle’s pages that I could see.

In short, Bitacle, right now, is no longer earning any money directly from the content they scrape. At the moment, it appears likely that this is a direct result of my Adsense DMCA notice.

I will post more information once I hear back from Google.
