Featured Articles: Stopping Internet Plagiarism

By Jonathan Bailey • May 27th, 2006 • Category: Articles, Featured Articles

Though placed on the sidebar to the right and containing some of the most important articles on the site, The "Stopping Internet Plagiarism" series, often times gets overlooked.

As understandable as that is given the placement and titles of the works, the SIP articles are practical must-reads for anyone interested in the issue of plagiarism online.

The articles are as follows:

Stopping Internet Plagiarism
1. How to Find Plagiarism
2. Contacting a Plagiarist
3. Finding the Host
4. Contacting the Host
5. When All Else Fails
6. The Long Haul

Though at least a few of the articles are due for an update sometime soon, the overall principles and ideas remain valid and the series one of the cornerstones of this site.

The internet plagiarism is something that from my opinion will never stop with or without wanting or knowing about. There are many people who prefer plaiarism because it is easier and it works so why don;t they do that if it works. It is hard to find people who actually want to do something on their own to succeed in something.

Internet plagiarism is something that could happen without somebody actually wanting to do that. Imagine that the number of websites has multiplied exponentially in the last years and people basically can't come with something new so... sometimes they copy or they write something without even knowing they plagiated somebody...
