I too love Firefox. Unfortunately, this is my boyfriend’s computer and he has it set to automatically update Win/MS, so I ended up losing many of my newly found Firefox extensions after an MS update about two months ago. I also lost all my bookmarks.

Two extensions I did not lose were “Clippings (I use it like you use “Signature but I’ve never tested the amount of text it allows per entry) and “Amazing Webpage Emailer which actually came in handy once when I needed to let a webmaster see the exact page I was seeing on his site while experiencing a problem. (Otherwise I just use it for fun.)

A couple more are “Generate ESBN Copyright (formerly Numly?) and “Right of Tongue which allows me to Spell Check by right-clicking on my typed text within a webpage (like a message board or this site). Rt. of Tongue does not always have a suggestion for a misspelled word, but it at least lets you know it’s “wrong. For example, “plagerism gives me “X Wrong but “plagarism gives me the correct spelling as a suggestion (“plagiarism). I can left-click the suggestion to replace the misspelled word with the suggestion.

The only problem I have with FF is when I try to paste a link (or anything actually) into a Yahoo! email. I can read my Yahoo! mail but can’t paste into a new mail using FF – the paste option is simply not there, neither by right-clicking nor via the non existent ‘paste’ icon. I must use IE to even see the paste icon. I have reported the problem to Yahoo! twice but have never received a response. Maybe one of your readers will have a suggestion or work-around for this.

Thanks for the suggestion of Scrapbook. I’m off to download it now!
